C&I Business Development Professional
SUMMARY OF ROLE
Renewvia seeks an entrepreneurial, high impact individual to drive sales growth for the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) business unit in the United States. As a member of the Renewvia Business Development Team, this individual will work closely with management at Renewvia to identify opportunities and close new business. The successful candidate will independently identify, assess, architect, and close solar energy projects which can include energy storage.
EXPECTED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with Renewvia's commercial solar sales team to develop and close distributed energy solar and solar + storage projects in lucrative solar markets. Candidates are expected to close 1-3MW in their first year of work and 2-5 in the following years.
Stay apprised of various net-metering, interconnection, incentives, and other policies in specific markets and develop/ retool sales strategy with geographic focus wherever necessary.
Identify and analyze value proposition and deal structure for C&I solar projects. Focus on both short-term cash deals for clients that own their own facilities while working with Renewvia business development team on longer term projects that require third-party financing.
Generate new leads on a weekly basis through cold calling, in person drop-ins, and digital platforms while also utilizing existing channels and networks to build a large pipeline of new business for the team.
