The Renewvia team is expanding! We are excited to announce that Renewvia has hired two seasoned solar industry professionals – Christopher Morse and John Thornburg – to help deliver solar solutions to our growing portfolio of customers across the United States. Both US Army veterans, Christopher and John each served the United States for more than twenty years, followed by significant experience in the solar industry. Renewvia is thrilled that Christopher and John have joined the team as we expand our offerings with our newly announced US Operations & Maintenance Division.
Christopher Morse is Renewvia’s new Director of Construction, with responsibility for Construction oversight and management of Sub-Contractors, Site Commissioning, Customer Care, Permitting, and Interconnect on sites. Previously, Christopher worked for Radiance Solar where he was a Project Manager and a Solar Superintendent. Prior to this, he worked for Strata Solar as a Solar Superintendent for large utility-scale projects across the US. Christopher has significant experience and has managed projects totaling over 730 MW and is knowledgeable with multiple technologies and racking systems. He is adept at running large and complex projects, overseeing multiple engagements and large teams. He began his career in the US Army where he served for more than 22 years in the United States Infantry.
John Thornburg is Renewvia’s new Operations & Maintenance Manager. He is responsible for maintaining over 50+ active Solar sites, and provides 24/7 monitoring and customer reporting, along with onsite preventive and corrective maintenance services. John brings to Renewvia hands-on experience as a technician, and lead foreman with QLM/Strata Solar as well as Axis Technologies and the White Electrical Company. While at Strata Solar, John supervised all aspects of racking and module installation, wire management, and implementing QA/QC procedures, and daily safety checks. John is a retired US Army veteran where he served for more than 20 years and held positions including Platoon Sergeant and Assistant Operation Sergeant Major.
